Instant refunds are refunded instantly, from the time of initiation of refund to the end customer. This is a great way to build trust with your customer and provide a great user experience for them.
We support almost all major payment methods for Instant refunds, including credit cards, debit cards, UPI, and bank transfers.
When issuing a refund, we always send the funds back to the original payment method used for the transaction. For example, if the customer used a credit card to make the purchase, we will refund the amount back to their credit card. If the customer used a different payment method, such as UPI or a bank transfer, we will refund the amount back to that account.
Instant refunds are refunded instantly, from the time of initiation of refund, to the end customer. However, the length of time it takes to process a refund varies based on the amount being refunded:

More than 2,00,000.00 | Credited within two hours during business hours. |
Cosmofeed processing all refunds through Razorpay which is the Payment Gateway we use. Razorpay charges a small transaction fee to process Instant refunds.
In cases where the Instant refund fails and the refund takes 5-7 working days, the levied fee is credited back to your account.
Additionally, a transaction fee and GST are by default charged for every refund () as this is the fee charged by the payment gateway and the government respectively.
